I called my 3 Republic reps today and our 2 senators.
We live in Lincoln NE and the rep Adrian Smith is in the third district in Western NE. The phone aid kept interrupting me to find out what part of NE that I live in. I told him that I wasn't finished talking, and he interrupted me to ask, do I live in Lincoln. I said, yes. He told me to call Mike Flood's office, he was my rep. I said Smith should be representing all of NE. He said, no only the 3rd district. I asked who Smith represents in the third district, everyone or only Republicans? Then I told him my married daughter and her family are living right smack in the middle of the 3rd district and they weren't doing very well, both are self employed and can't even pay their quarterly estimates for taxes because they have to pay the full 15% for medicare since they have no employer, plus income taxes. My daughter's husband has type one diabetes and can't get the insurance company to consistently pay for his meds. Then he was a little more polite. But, I know neither Smith or his snotty little aid give a shit.
We will go to the 50501 protest on Saturday. I made a sign that asks,
Will our military protect We The People from the Traitor?
I'm just spitting nails today.
