I was momentarily confused as to what this was...

Can't say I like the title or your OP subject line-- because at first it reminded me of Hamas--
rather than a message from the victims at the music festival!

(Not that I think you are pro-terrorist for a moment, it was just the way that the words hit me. Eventually I figured it out)

But open demonstrations expressing pro-Nazi, anti-Jewish, or even anti-Israel sentiment are still specifically forbidden by law in Germany, and one of the cops said on the radio that she and her colleagues would be watching closely for illegal activity. She said that if they started to cross the line, they would remind the organizers, and if they crossed it after being warned, they would shut it down without further discussion. They were quite prepared for taking on violence with subsequent complaints of “brutality” if they encountered pushback. This wouldn’t be the first time the German cops have confronted this issue. Islamic immigrants here far outnumber the tiny number of German Jews left, along with the small number of non-German Jewish immigrants
