I watched a ton of news during Bush & hardly any during Obama & then on again during Trump. I was looking forward to a quiet Biden term, but unfortunately the orange stain wouldn't step off the national stage so I found myself still watching the damned news. The MSM doesn't care if they turn America into a stinking reality TV show if it gets them ratings because they think it can't happen that he will shut them down.

We need a landslide next month & court-proof margins in swing states. We need to quash the maga movement & send them & their hate back under their rocks.

Their so far out of step that fear and lies are all they have. Their views of social matters and morality are 15th century. Their economic ideas have failed as many times as we can count. Sometimes spectacularly.

behaves like them. Why do I believe that the 2000 and 2004 elections was stolen - One of the early things the Bush admin did was mandate the changing of voting machines.

They always think that they are "So Cute" in doings things that are wrong that they have to broadcast by saying that the others are doing it also. But it is always the conservatives doing it.

Since they figure everything they do is at least tangentially in support of the one true religion, they have a stay out of hell fire free card.

Are their lips moving? In 2024, it's simply true. Instead of wondering if something a Republican says is false, i.e., normal fact checking, it's the inverse. Is anything they say actually true? Since nearly everything they say is complete bullshit.

If and when we have another debate, the moderators should do truth checking on the Republican. Just tell me what's true in what they said. It's quicker and simpler that way. I can safely assume everything else is a total lie.

they have been literally hypnotized by misinformation. They really believe the "alternative facts" lies that they have been fed. Of the emotions being manipulated, fear is far more often employed.

The continuous drumbeat of fear has reduced many into volunteer victims of their radical MAGA cult.

I am not entirely sure. The GOP and it's media allies have set in motion over many years the machinery to create and maintain a literal cult. It's not easy to "deprogram" cult members or true believers. It's almost as if they have minimal free will, if any at all when it comes to their programming.

Older than I should be. I pulled a pretty hard core Rip van winkle. Woke up on this planet 5 years ago, but I remember the Reagan 80's and went to college during the Beginning of PC'ism. So a lot of this is " been there, done that" However ,Punk Rock, Grunge and Goth all came out of this time period. Some cool iconic Cinema as well. There's something about shitty government(remember Nirvana came out around the same time as Rush Limbaugh and the rise of talk radio) so let hope that today's partisan bullcrap yields some good new fresh cinematic and musical artistry rather than the rehashed cultural wasteland it is currently. Like, nobody really gives a shit about Ariel's skin tone, from the waist down she's a freaking fish. I ain't going down on that yo. Besides they're all Aqua-Americans to me.

Peace, Noodleboy
