Donald Trump raped a woman. Don't let him rape the USA.

I think this is not being pointed out enough. Trump is a rapist. There's a month left; people are voting now. Remind them: Trump is a rapist, VP Harris is a normal human being, and the Supreme Court just gave future presidents a pass on anything they do as an "official act". It's more important than ever to have a non-criminal as president.

There are millions of people who won't vote for Trump, but might say "well, what's the difference? Why bother?" or "I want to to make a point about Gaza, and I don't care if Trump wins while I do that".

Read about the election, and you'll see that most people think that the swings in voting is not about getting the committed voters (for either side) to change their mind, but about getting a vote from those who might not do it. This is why it's called "Get Out The Vote". It's a phrase you may have heard.

Particularly in this election. It's about getting our side to show up in the swing states in numbers greater than the other side. Known voters are a much better target than hoping that people who never vote will somehow show up this time.

People made up their minds about Trump years ago, some decades ago. Everyone knows who he is. His supporters know that he's a rapist and they don't care. They pretend that it's all just a witch-hunt, but they know.

Reminding others for the 4,000th time is going to make no difference. They've been beaten over the head with it for years, and anyone who can be swayed was swayed years ago. But, I'm sure the 4,000th time will make all the difference!

We need to convince our voters why they should vote for Harris, why they shouldn't stay home, and not just why they shouldn't vote for Trump. Making this all about Trump - as some have been clamoring for all cycle - is a losing proposition.

Reminding people why they should vote for Trump's only viable opponent is indeed important. That is, for instance, what Liz Cheney said, appearing with VP Harris. Her speech was all about the constitutional aspects of why it's important to keep Trump out - he will break the law to get and keep power. But there are also personal moral reasons - that he's a rapist, and misogynist, and approves of using violence to get his way.

I'm not saying "forget about putting forward positive reasons for voting for Harris"; I'm saying that as well as that, and saying Trump is a traitor out for himself, he needs to be prevented from taking power because he is utterly immoral.

The United States told him no and he said “oh you like it, you know you do” and forced himself on us and that’s what’s going on now. I don’t know why he isn’t called a rapist in every mention. what’s more he is an unrepentant rapist he would do it again. He is doing it again. It’s infuriating and many men don’t understand. Unfortunately, some women too

It’s not about not caring about rape.

It’s the fact that Trump Cult members don’t care – that Trump Cult members are willfully ignorant about all of Trump’s crimes and Trump’s corruption.

They don’t believe Trump committed rape; they believe it’s a nefarious conspiracy theory to ‘get’ Trump.

How about a poster with Trump’s fat face that says something like “do you want this man raping your daughter?“

Back when he was pals with Jeffrey Epstein, there was a witness who saw him rape a 13 year old and a 14 year old girl. The 14 year old was taking him to court, Gloria Allred was the lawyer. The girl got so many death threats she backed out. The other girl, named Maria, just disappeared.

This happened at Epstein's mansion.

Imagine.... we have a rapist running for president of the United States of America. As well as other crimes and felonies too. But Trump yells about rapists coming across the border WHEN HE IS ONE. makes you want to scream! He should be shunned but the magats and all the GOP don't give a shit what he does. They are deplorable.

.... Republican voters, because most of them also know full well that Trump is guilty. This isn't — and likely has never been — a situation where Trump voters are legitimately confused about whether Carroll was telling the truth. They've all heard the "grab 'em by the pussy" tape. They know Trump is downright proud to be a sexual predator. It's just that most of them don't care. For some, Trump's propensity for violence against women is likely a plus.

Part of what is going on is the MAGA base has embraced Trump's view that he should have "immunity" to commit crimes because he's a "star" and they should have to "let you do it." But the willingness to shrug off Trump's sexual abusiveness is also just the same rape culture and victim-blaming that feminists have been speaking out against forever. American conservatism has always been misogynist, but it's grown even more repugnant under Trump's leadership. The abuse that Trump has been heaping on Carroll is celebrated by MAGA as putting her in her place.

During the deposition for the first Carroll trial, Trump's delight in his sexual violence kept leaking out. He poutingly insisted men have been allowed to rape for "millions of years," shruggingly adding, "unfortunately or fortunately," with little doubt that "fortunately" is where he falls on the question. Trump also keeps insulting women, including his victims, by saying they aren't good-looking enough to sexually assault. As Carroll's attorney pointed out during the first trial, the clear implication is that sexual assault is justified if the victim is hot enough.

There's a myth in the mainstream media that "everyone" thinks sexual assault is bad, but clearly, that is not the case. As Atlantic writer Adam Serwer famously said of the MAGA movement, "The cruelty is the point." This sadism manifests in many ways, from wanting to see migrants drown to death in the Rio Grande to open longing to shoot Black Lives Matter protesters. This malice extends to women.
