Economic hellscape wouldn't be the only disaster of another Trump presidency. Ukraine and our allies would be abandoned. Polluters would be in charge of the EPA. Our Justice Department would become a tool of revenge for a depraved dictator. Women would be shoved towards the Handmaid's Tale, and Democracy would end.

Have they realized that dems are better at economy, at law and order, at foreign relations and pretty much everything else in government? Do they look back at the idiots they have elected, like Reagan, GW and Trump? Has it hit them yet that they have been played for years and the only way they ever got a republican elected is through cheating, for many years now? If it is just because of Trump and they go back, they have learned nothing.

and have been for 8 years touting democratic values. Some of them have actually registered as dems but many are still republicans, hoping to get their party back. My question to them is what really are your values? The cheating that republicans have done over the last 40 or more years is out in public, now more than ever before, and I don't understand how they can go back to that. They still revere Reagan, which astounds me, he was a mess.

If you look at dump's rallies and the interviews with his cult, those obviously economically distressed individuals are unemployable. 45-67 years old. Appears they've never purchased dental floss and maybe never heard of it (never listened to Frank Zappa ). Looks like they have zero plans of ever reentering the job market no matter who's in the WH.

Anyone rooting for donald dump and his policies is a hypocrite if they're receiving gov't bennies. He wants to eliminate them. Hello? Also, I did my "own" research by looking at their faces. I guess it's a special skill I have. I only charge a fee of $500/hr if you'd like to hire. Quite the bargain.

It's what he does.

19 times Trump called jobs numbers ‘fake’ before they made him look good

A few:

~
Sep. 7, 2012

“Unemployment rate only dropped because more people are out of labor force & have stopped looking for work. Not a real recovery, phony numbers”

Oct. 19, 2012
"7.8% unemployment number is a complete fraud as evidenced by the jobless claims number released yesterday. Real unemployment is at least 15%”

Aug. 11, 2013
“We can rev up this economy like it should be, not with false numbers like 7.4 percent unemployment. But with real numbers.”

May 31, 2014
“Unemployment is a totally phony number.”

June 16, 2015
“Our real unemployment is anywhere from 18 to 20 percent. Don't believe the 5.6. Don't believe it.”
~

The ACA will cause the rationing of our healthcare system, and healthcare will be all but inaccessible to most.

Obama will crash the stock market.

Romney famously said the unemployment rate will never get below 8% under Obama, and he boasted he will get it to 6% if elected. The unemployment rate when Obama left office? 4.7%

You'd think their predictions would come true once in a while, just by happenstance.

But like cult members who's dire predictions of the end of the world are perpetually wrong, the cognitive dissonance of Republican voters is inexplicably reality-proof.

The average (D) person:

Well, things are looking up!
Not perfect, with conflict around the world, global warming and storms and stuff, but mostly things are ok for me.

The average (R) person:
You think?
With Trump in the White House, I'd have a better job, nicer house, wars would stop overnight, and storms would just disappear!
Gas would be 30c/gallon, and . . . blah, blah, blah!

Perspective is everything!
So is being in touch with reality!
