... a new poll reveals America's outlook on having a woman president is becoming more positive.
A poll by The Economist and YouGov shows that 57 percent of voters answered "yes" to the question: "Do you think America is ready to elect a woman president?" This is three points higher than a poll taken in July with the same question.
The survey, which was taken among 1,638 U.S. Adult Citizens between September 19 and October 1, reveals that not only are more than half of Americans ready for a woman president, but only 23 percent of Americans do not believe the country is not ready for a woman president, with 20 percent of respondents saying they're not sure ...

By pundits wondering whether the nation was ready to elect a woman. By the candidate herself, who touted her own nomination as a milestone in our nations march toward a more perfect union. And, of course, by voters such as me who honored history by wearing pantsuits to the polls. I brought my daughter, too. The next morning, I hid under the covers and made my husband tell her that Clinton had lost.
... When (Harris) accepted the nomination, she didnt mention her gender at all. Shes running as a child of the middle class, as a prosecutor, as our best hope of defeating Donald Trump. Shes not running to become the first female president of the United States ...
