But the disappointments and defeats of elections past have me stuck in a sort of abject fatalism.

Are starting to enter the public consciousness.

An idea of the factors that are beginning to sink in can be surmised from this article, a survey of Buzzfeed responses from conservatives who gave up on the traitor in chief.

and I saw 'real world' ads for first time; I don't see them at home on PBS or MSNBC or TCM. Some really obnoxious ads, one 'promotes' her 'promotion' of trans surgeries.

End of baseball season today, and the 50,000 watt radio station that does 49ers games always gives priority to SF Giants, who, instead of winning the last game of the season to go .500, lost a humiliating 6-1 game to the Cards. A statue of the Greek God Medioc-rites will go up when they advance to that level.

So, I put up the tv and the aerial to get the football game over the air from some 30 miles as the crow flies.

Saw that bullshit ad. And a Harris ad.

He should post his jockish jock itch photos.

You're exactly right! That's how it feels, and has been feeling for some time now. You expressed it perfectly!
Now I have to follow your link... thanks!

It’s up to us to score, whether that’s a lot of small hits or a grand slam.

I felt a real turning point a while back, when the Cheneys formally disavowed Stump.

I feel that it broke the spell for many.

I regularly post talking points where you can find something in them to please anyone (our points) or outrage anyone (the GOP points) as I saw them and still see them.

Thanks for the reply!

That was my 12,500th post.
I hope it brings good luck to Harris and Walz.

Meet Tim Gorman. He’s a former Republican at the Kamala Harris rally in Nevada with his entire family right now — & he is proudly wearing a “White Dudes for Kamala Harris.” This is so awesome. We need more people like Tim.

“Asked about Republicans who are worried about the economy, Gorman said, ‘I was a Republican for many, many years, and I would say it's not about the pocketbook, it's not about the borders, it's about what's in your heart.’” Exactly!!

“‘Kamala is for the people,’ Gorman said. ‘She's for what's right and what's good, and she’s envisioned so many exciting things that it's invigorated people in a way that wasn't here four years ago, eight years ago.’”

I like the way her campaign is being run. The social media is creative and in my view effective. I’m seeing a ton of Harris ads during NFL games on Sundays. She has a significant money advantage. There is more enthusiasm on her side than Trumps.

The comparisons to 2016 and 2020 are lame. This isn’t like either of those elections. It’s its own thing, like they all are.

Campaigning for 3 years on issues that are no longer current. The border & the economy have improved. The stock market is at an all time high and gas prices are lower.
The only thing he has left is personal insults.
It's all over October is is going to see his collapse.

Remember 2016!

We can not predict what mischief is afoot for the coming weeks...

We can not let this one slip away due to overconfidence!

We have 40 postcards on their way to Ohio tomorrow morning. Please get involved yourselves.

We will win this thing ONLY if we all stay on task.

As Governor walz so aptly put it... WE CAN SLEEP WHEN WE'RE DEAD!
